Aiming High

This interactive website run by the National Youth Agency (NYA) is a tool for practitioners, policy makers and young people to share the challenges and issues surrounding the 'Aiming High for Young People' ten year strategy for young people

Askability

The Askability website was inspired by The Children's Society Solihull branch when they decided that there was a need for a website which was presented entirely in symbol to enable children with learning disabilities to become informed about ongoing current affairs and also create a central forum for children to express their views and opinions.

Aspire Active Camps

Aspire Active Camps provide Ofsted registered, enjoyable, action-packed school holiday courses for children aged 5 to 16 years old.  The aim is to get children active and build their confidence through sports and other activities they may be interested in trying.

bayc

Be Birmingham

Be Birmingham (formerly known as BSP) is Birmingham's local strategic partnership and brings together partners from the business, community, voluntary and faith sectors to deliver a better Birmingham.

Birmingham ChangeUp Consortium

Birmingham ChangeUp Consortium is a broad spectrum of voluntary and community organisations providing support services to the voluntary and community sector.

The Directorate for Children, Young People and Families takes the lead in implementing the Council's vision for Birmingham to be an inspiring place where all children, young people and families enjoy living, learning, developing and achieving together whilst feeling secure in a city that is child and family friendly.

Birmingham Development Agencies Network

The Development Agencies Network brings together local development agencies supporting voluntary and community organisations in Birmingham.

Birmingham Grid for Learning

Birmingham Grid for Learning (BGfL) hosts resources for learners, parents/carers, school staff and governors in Birmingham.

Birmingham PlayCare Network

BPCN support the sector to create environments that enable children to experience the sort of play opportunities and experiences that have been lost from daily life. BPCN provide support to member childcare settings (commonly also known as after school clubs, out of school clubs and playcare schemes) across Birmingham with guidance, information and training to enable them to deliver the best possible play service.

b:RAP

b:RAP works to achieve a society which is more equitable and confident in its diversity by helping people, communities and the organisations that serve them to turn equality into reality.

Brook

Brook offer free and confidential sexual health services, including contraception, pregnancy testing, STI testing and treatment, unplanned pregnancy support and counselling, for any issue, to young people across the West Midlands, who are under 25.  Brook also offer consultancy and training to young people and professionals.  In Birmingham Brook are on John Bright Street and open Mon 10am - 7pm, Tues to Thurs 11am - 7pm and Saturdays 10am - 5pm.

Brighter Futures

Brighter Futures is the name that describes the strategy in Birmingham for improving the lives of all the city's children and young people.  The vision is for Birmingham to be an inspiring place where all children and young people enjoy living, learning, developing and achieving together whilst feeling secure in a city that is child and family friendly.

BSSEC

Birmingham & Solihull Social Economy Consortium (BSSEC) is a practitioner-led network of agencies and enterprises involved in the social economy in Birmingham and Solihull.  The site features a web-based Purchasing Guide to Social Enterprise & the Voluntary Sector, a free service to the Birmingham and Solihull social enterprise sector, designed to meet public purchasers' need for better market intelligence about what social enterprises are out there, the services they provide and - most importantly - the benefits and added-value of using the social enterprise option.

BVSC

BVSC, the Centre for Voluntary Action, is a registered charity that works to support voluntary action in the city of Birmingham. BVSC provides information, advice and guidance to voluntary and community organisations. BVSC also promotes volunteering by finding individuals appropriate voluntary work and helping organisations to find volunteers.

bWell Birmingham
