‘Breakin Barriers Healin the Hood’ is an exciting music project which aims to bring together skilled grass roots artists, including mc’s, lyrical poets, and rappers....
The aim of these workshops is for young people who are passionate about music to generate ideas with the artists, that would lead to original writing of ‘rap’s, poems and stories, and be consolidated with 2 days of recording their word onto CD!...with the opportunity of showcasing their final piece at an arts venue in Birmingham...
These workshops are part of the Aman Project – Safety, Security & Peace – run by the Muslim Women’s Network (Building a Global Community)
