Complementary Therapies for Families

Aims:
- To teach families simple complementary therapy techniques that they can use at home for their benefit.
- To provide stress free family time and enhanced bonding, as well as the opportunity for peer support as they meet with other families.
- There will be workshops on Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Massage and Relaxation techniques specifically aimed at helping with common problems such as pain, anxiety, constipation and sleeplessness.

Who:
- Families must be caring for a child with a life threatening or complex health condition.
- Families registered with ANY Birmingham Primary Care Trust GP may now apply.
- The whole family is invited to attend.

When:
- There will now be series of single workshops. Families can book onto more than one workshop.
- The workshops will take place on Saturday mornings starting January 16th. Arrive from 10.30 for tea and coffee. Workshops begin at 11.00, ending with FREE lunch from 1pm.

Where:
- The course will be held at The Saffron Centre, 256 Moseley Rd, Highgate, Birmingham, B12 0BS which has full disability access and free parking.

How:
- Families can self refer
- We would also welcome referrals from you for any families who you feel would benefit from participating in the programme.

- Upon enquiry / referral, eligible families will be sent a registration form to complete and return.
