CSV Make a Difference Day

CSV Environment involves people with little or no environmental experience in improving the areas where they live and work.  They provide opportunities for people of all ages and background to volunteer in projects such as food-growing, composting, cycling and walking, and helping to improve their local streets and parks.

Every year tens of thousands of people get together to make a difference in their communities for CSV Make a Difference Day, the UK's biggest day of volunteering.

This year it takes place on Saturday 30 October 2010 - and you can be part of it! Think big and organise your own activity for the campaign. Activities can take place up to a week either side of the day itself with the week before being half term!  An example of an activity could be cleaning up the garden of a residential home or painting a fence for a charity - but you will all have a lot more ideas.
