Faiths for Fun Event

Following the success of the last 2 years this event will again be held at Hamstead Hall Community Learning Centre on Sunday 17 October. The event is organised jointly by the Birmingham Council of Faiths and the Birmingham Scout Association.

Children aged 8-11 work in multifaith groups visiting 5-6 faith bases at which they carry out a fun activity and learn some aspect of each faith. At the end of the afternoon, children will have the opportunity to participate in sporting activities in the sports hall. At the end of the event all children will be given a certificate confirming their participation.

Hamstead Hall Community Learning Centre is on the corner of Craythorne Avenue and Acfold Rd between Handsworth and Handsworth Wood, which is on the 654 bus route and 0.75 miles from Hamstead Station. Children pay £1 at the door, but must register in advance.  Booking deadline: 7 October.
