Fun in Brum holiday activities & short breaks

The Family Information Service (FIS) have collected over 40 pages of stuff for families to do in Birmingham including inclusive activities for children and young people who need additional support.

This edition of Fun in Brum is produced in-house and to save on printing costs FIS are only be able to post out copies to parents who contact them directly.  A PDF version of the listings is attached below for you to print out and give to parents you work with.  There is also a list of half term playschemes and an electronic copy of the new Short Breaks Fun in Brum.  If you require hard copies of Short Breaks please contact Emma Lewis on 0121 464 3536 or email her to discuss your requirements.

Unfortunately some of the information was received after the deadline and if this applies to you we apologise for not being able to include it in the guide. It is essential that FIS stick to deadlines so we give families time to choose activities and plan their time. However, we never let information go to waste and all our advisors have all the information to hand and can advise parents on activities that never made it into the guide!

Finally, please remember that it's never too soon to send us your information about activities taking place over the Summer holidays - FIS are already getting requests from parents and carers who are looking for schemes and activities. The deadline for this information is 16 June. This publication will be produced in a booklet similar to the Short Breaks booklet attached and in order to ensure that we meet our printers deadlines we will not be able to add any information received after this date.
