We are pleased to announce that the VCS Matters programme is continuing this financial year but with a significant reduction to its core budget. In order to manage the impact of changes to the core contract we are in the process of implementing a programme restructure which impacts on the future direction of the programme, the level of services and the current complement of our staff team.

How do we ensure every child still matters?

'Every child matters' has disappeared from the political agenda as a name, but what about the substance?  How can we preserve VCS provision for children and young people in a climate of cuts and uncertainty?
 

RAWM are pleased to invite you to a meeting with John Bercow, the Speaker of the House of Commons at RAWM’s offices.  The Speaker will be visiting the West Midlands for the day and is keen to meet with members of the West Midlands voluntary and community sector.  

A free 'Love Your Tender' Workshop will take place in Coventry city centre on 21 October to increase VCS organisations' awareness of and confidence with contracting.

By the end of the session participants will have:

- a new toolkit to guide them towards becoming 'tender ready'

- an understanding of the difference between grant funding and contracting

- assessed how 'tender ready' they are and flagged up key issues for further work
