Into the Voluntary Sector deep end!

Voluntary sector? Community sector? Public sector? Third sector? Children's Trusts arrangements? What does it all mean? Where have I landed in Hardeep's career journey?!

After graduating as an Industrial Product Designer, the last thing I thought I'd be doing is helping voluntary and community organisations come together to share good practice and bridge access to other sectors!

But how do I do that? It's all new to me!  How do I get my head around all of this jargon?!  All writing matter in this sector is inaccessible and unclear! I'm initially in this post until the end of the financial year, and between now and then, I have to understand how the sector works and how I can help all of these organisations make the most of the opportunities available to them.

It is definetely a challenge I am looking forward to but there are also daunting aspects of the role.  Over the next few months, I'll be sharing with you my experiences of Hardeep's career journey as a voluntary sector newbie!
