West Midlands Training and Quality Standards survey.  Help us to improve the sector!

G:up has commissioned Midlands Youth (an alliance of 14 West Midlands youth associations) to investigate the

· training needs

· use of quality assurance schemes

across the West Midlands children and young people's voluntary sector.

Below, download a quick and easy questionnaire about each area, designed to capture the experiences and needs of the sector. We value your input to gain accurate insights and help raise organisational and workforce standards for the benefit of young people in the region.

Please complete the questionnaires and return them to us by the extended deadline of Monday 7 June 2010. Please also inform your relevant contacts and networks.

What is G:XL?

G:XL is a three year project within G:up, designed in partnership with 40 organisations, to improve how infrastructure organisations support the children and young people’s voluntary sector across the
West Midlands.

How will this information be used?

Midlands Youth will:

  • Collate and analyse the results
  • Produce an audit and review of infrastructure standards
  • Develop a self-assessment toolkit, a training and development action plan, and events calendar

All the work and resources will be freely available for G:up members on the G:up website.

For more information see http://www.growingupinthewestmidlands.info/node/1217 or contact George Turvey on george.turvey@bayc.org or 0845 410 923.

Many thanks for your time and support.
